Guests couldn't stop raving about the fantastic, amazing and excellent breakfast options that were available. Whether you prefer a continental or full breakfast, there was something for everyone. And the stunning views of the marina that come with it? Absolutely priceless. Although not all facilities were available due to Covid restrictions, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate early breakfast requests. While some guests were unimpressed with the limited breakfast choice, others found the food to be delicious with top-notch service. However, some reviewers did note that the breakfast buffet was poor and not up to their expectations. And for those looking for mainly fresh fruit, be warned - one unfortunate guest's fruit bowl consisted mainly of green apples. Lastly, if you're hoping to save a bit of cash, be sure to pre-book in the restaurant for breakfast and other meal options. Overall though, if a scrumptious and satisfying breakfast is what you're after, Portavadie Loch Fyne Scotland is definitely worth a visit.

The lodges, luxury apartments and cottages were sensationally large and comfortable and the cleanliness and spaciousness were exceptional. The accommodations are also well-appointed with quality fittings and lovely little fridges. Some of the rooms may look outdated, although they are still well-maintained and clean. The staff are accommodating and helpful, except for a few mismanagement issues. Guests may experience basic and uncomfortable rooms, but these are exceptions and the majority were satisfactory. The cottage unfortunately had some issues with mould and broken tiles, but other than these, the accommodations are very clean and tidy. However, some guests noted that the double beds were very small and that the beds were uncomfortable, causing some guests to get a sore back. Some guests also found that the pillows were very uncomfortable. Other guests noted issues with bed sheets, such as holes or fastenings between two single beds as a double that were broken. Despite these issues, many guests still found the rooms spacious and comfortable overall.

Cleanliness
If you're looking for a spotlessly clean hotel, Portavadie Loch Fyne Scotland is a great choice. The rooms are immaculately clean and spacious and the leisure pool and facilities are very clean. Guests have raved about the cleanliness of the facilities with some describing it as "insanely clean" and "everywhere spotless". Even areas like the showers and changing rooms are clean and well-maintained.

However, there were a few complaints about cleanliness, such as a dirty en suite window with cobwebs and human hair and some grubbiness in the room and pool areas. Some guests even found mold in their cottage's bathroom and broken tiles. But overall, guests have found the hotel to be very clean and tidy.

It's worth noting that some aspects of the hotel may not be as luxurious as expected, such as the "spa" feeling more like a leisure center.
