Location
Psamathous Guesthouse is situated in a remote and tranquil corner of Greece, at the end of the road in Porto Kagio. The location is amazing with access to several beach tavernas and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is right by the beach and some rooms have private terraces facing the sea. The staff provides great information about the Mani, making it a fantastic place to stay. It's a beautiful and picturesque bay with crystal clear water and a small village nearby. The guesthouse is a romantic and charming building, typical of constructions in Magne. The site is paradisiac, providing breathtaking views of the sea from the terraces and quiet nights due to the location away from the village. The proximity of the property to immediate beaches and the clear waters of the bay make it an exceptional place to spend a few days. There are only a couple of tavernas and a cafe in the area, making it perfect if you are looking for isolation and want to escape from crowds. The area is ideal for swimming, but there are no supermarkets, bakeries or other establishments nearby. Overall, it's a fantastic location with beautiful scenery and quiet isolation.

From excellent coffee to a great variety of pastries and bread, breakfast is something to look forward to every morning. The staff is courteous and welcoming and their service is sensational, making for a great experience. While the breakfast may lack vegetarian options or alternatives to ham and cheese toast, it is just enough to keep guests satisfied. With comfortable beds and a lovely terrace facing the sea, start your day off with a tasty and abundant breakfast at Psamathous Guesthouse.

Rooms
If comfort and appearance are important to you in a hotel room, then Psamathous Guesthouse has received high praise from satisfied guests. The rooms are tastefully furnished with traditional wall paintings and decorated with pieces of art created by the owner. Many rooms have a private terrace overlooking the sea, making for a beautiful view. The rooms are well-maintained, clean and generally comfortable with relaxing beds. The hotel building is new, stylish and modeled in the style of traditional Mani houses. While some guests have noted that some rooms are on the small side, they are still well-appointed with a charming decor. However, several guests have criticized the small and basic design of the bathrooms with comments ranging from the toilet being ridiculously tiny to the shower being too cramped. Overall, the rooms at Psamathous Guesthouse appear to be well worth the stay for their lovely appearance and cleanliness.

Cleanliness
Psamathous Guesthouse is a great choice for travelers who prioritize cleanliness. The premises are well-preserved and the rooms are perfectly taken care of with comfortable beds and lovely decorations, including unique pieces of art created by the owner. Guests can even enjoy a nice patio with an umbrella. Linen and towels are changed daily, although some guests raise concerns about water conservation and some cleaning oversights were noted (such as not washing glasses). However, overall, the rooms are clean and cozy with beautiful decor. While some guests complain about small bathrooms and low water pressure, others find them nice and comfortable. There were some issues with sewer odor and ants in some areas, but, in general, guests were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms.
