The hotel is reasonably close to the beach with easy access and stunning views from some of the apartments. Excellent location right at Porto Santo's famous sand beach. However, keep in mind that it's a little bit more far from the city center and you might need a car to explore the island fully. Nevertheless, there are great tours around the island to enjoy the beautiful ocean. The hotel's position is perfect for the beach with some guests even describing direct access as "phenomenal." Visitors appreciate being close to the beach and the hotel's beach facilities being excellent. While some guests needed to travel a little farther to get to certain island destinations, the location remained a highlight for most with incredible views and the hotel's surroundings contributing to a great experience. The staff also made a positive impact with many commenting on their kindness and care.

It's worth noting that if you would like to have sun loungers at the beach, they are concessioned by the hotel and not included. Overall, the hotel is practical with a beachfront location, stunning views and access via the hotel all contributing to a phenomenal vacation on this unique beach of Porto Santo.

Vila Baleira Porto Santo is the perfect family-friendly hotel to relax and unwind. The hotel offers a great variety of meals that are well-presented and delicious. Families who booked all-inclusive were not disappointed as they found that nothing was lacking. While the restaurant has set hours for all-inclusive guests, the staff is flexible and accommodating, especially for families with young children who may need to eat or sleep at different times. The indoor pool is a great feature with its warm water and the availability of baby soup during mealtimes is convenient for families traveling with young children. The hotel offers excellent family apartments and everyone feels at home at this hotel that caters to families. However, the hotel reception was not accommodating when a family asked to keep one room until 3 pm for a late departure, although this did not detract from the excellent overall experience families had during their stay. They had a great time and can't wait to come back!
