The Banyan Tree Puebla is a historic hotel with a great location for exploring the city. While there are few nice restaurants within walking distance, the hotel is well placed on towards one side of town, outside of the hustle and bustle but within walking distance to the Zocalo and other tourist attractions. The rooftop bar is particularly excellent. Guests praised the hotel's excellent location and service with many noting its proximity to the center of Puebla and other major landmarks. While the first ten minutes of walking can be a little unpleasant due to a busy road, the overall location is still very convenient for exploring the city.
