Wi-Fi
The WiFi experience at Skyview Hotel by LIVVO appears to be mixed according to guest reviews. While some found the WiFi to be good and stable, others encountered significant issues, including no connectivity and poor internet access, particularly in their rooms. The connection varied from being decent in some areas to unreliable in others, leaving some guests without consistent access. Overall, while there were a few positive notes on the stability of the WiFi, many reviews indicated room for improvement in this service.
Pool
The Skyview Hotel by LIVVO features a rooftop pool that guests frequently mention in their reviews. This pool, while smaller in size, is celebrated for its unique location on the rooftop, offering guests stunning views of Mount Teide and the surrounding landscape. Many see it as an enticing spot for relaxation, ideal for sunbathing with plenty of sunbeds available. The pool area is described as very nice and quite modern, providing a tranquil escape right within the hotel premises. Additionally, the proximity of an outdoor bar adds to its convenience.
However, some reviews suggest that the pool could benefit from updating with comments pointing out that the water could be cleaner and warmer. Despite these critiques, the scenic views and generally pleasant atmosphere of the rooftop pool area make it a popular feature among visitors seeking a relaxed and picturesque setting during their stay.
Nightlife
Skyview Hotel by LIVVO offers a lively and bustling atmosphere due to its proximity to hotels with bars and businesses. Guests can find nearby evening entertainment options that cater to various tastes. The general neighborhood is vibrant and busy, providing an energetic backdrop for visitors who enjoy an active nightlife. However, this bustling environment can lead to noise from nearby parties, street activities and neighboring rooms, which may affect guests' comfort late at night. Noise from the street and surrounding areas can be quite loud, especially due to ongoing construction. The pool, though an attractive feature, is less enjoyable at night due to its location and the surrounding noise. Ear plugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise to ensure a more restful experience. Despite these factors, the area does offer ample options for those looking to dive into local nighttime activities.
Accessible
Skyview Hotel Tenerife offers an accessible location that makes it convenient for guests to reach various attractions, including the beautiful old town, which is just a short walk away. The strategic positioning of the hotel in Puerto de la Cruz is particularly beneficial for those traveling without a car, as there is a nearby bus station providing easy transportation across the island.
The hotel itself, however, presents mixed accessibility features. While the general area and parts of the hotel are easy to access, guests with mobility issues may face challenges. The rooftop pool, though inviting for relaxation, is not easily accessible due to its steep ramp and stair-only access. Additionally, some rooms designated as accessible have drawn criticism for requiring frequent assistance and showing signs of wear, such as peeling stucco ceilings.
Despite these drawbacks, the hotel offers good value for money and includes certain amenities like renovated, large and comfortable bathrooms that are accessible. Overall, while the location and general accessibility of the Skyview Hotel Tenerife are commendable, travelers with specific mobility needs might find some facilities lacking.
Outdoor Pool
Skyview Hotel by LIVVO offers a unique rooftop pool experience that many guests find charming despite its small size. Positioned on the roof, the pool provides spectacular views, particularly of the iconic Mount Teide, making it a great spot to relax and soak in the scenery. Its location offers an opportunity for sunbathing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. However, some guests noted that the outdoor pool can be quite cold and the pool area lacks a bathroom facility. While the pool closes relatively early at 5 pm, it remains one of the hotel's key attractions, praised for both its quality and the breathtaking views it offers.
