Hotel Lotus has an exceptional and friendly staff with guests consistently describing the personnel as extremely gentle, helpful, attentive and above and beyond. The lady at the front desk even made someone a sandwich! Customer service is exceptional and the managers and owner, Maria, are lovely and always ready to help with tips around Reykjavik. The staff goes the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and happy, even making cookies for them upon their return to the hotel. The hotel is completely contactless, but the staff is still very welcoming and informative, providing great advice on places to visit. Despite cancelled flights, the staff was helpful in making arrangements, including calling taxis or allowing guests to check in earlier or stay later. Overall, the hotel has a great and caring team that makes each guest feel welcomed and at home.
