Breakfast
Many guests at the Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw had positive things to say about the hotel's breakfast. They enjoyed the variety of hot and cold options, from scrambled eggs and sausage to fruit, yogurt and oatmeal. Reviewers raved about the delicious bacon and well-cooked sausage and were impressed with the multiple toppings for waffles and oatmeal. The staff was also commended for being helpful and accommodating during the Covid-19 pandemic with guests appreciative of the wrapped and bagged breakfast items. However, some reviewers were disappointed with the limited selection, especially for those with dietary restrictions and reported missing items or having to ask for restocking. Despite some negative comments, the majority of guests agreed that the breakfast was a great way to start off the day.

Rooms
Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw boasts of nice, spacious and clean rooms according to guests' reviews. The hotel rooms are large and well-laid-out with comfortable and clean beds. Most guests compliment the exceptional customer service, modern facilities and quiet surroundings. Some guests, however, had mixed experiences with the cleanliness of the rooms with some reporting issues like dusty floors, stained bedding and unclean bathrooms. Despite this, most guests agree that the size and cleanliness of the rooms coupled with the hotel's location make it a great place to stay.

Beds
Guests have mixed reviews about the comfort of the beds at the Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw. Some guests found the beds to be very comfortable and nice and soft, while others felt the beds were a little firm and caused discomfort to their backs. A few guests even reported that the beds were very uncomfortable or hard with some describing them as rock hard. On the other hand, some guests praised the cleanliness of the beds, which made them comfy to sleep in. However, guests were not happy with the quality of the pillows with one even stating that they absolutely hated them. Additionally, some guests reported hazardous conditions with the pull-out sofa bed for children, forcing them to strip down and use their own blankets and pillows. Despite this, guests enjoyed the spa tub, giving positive ratings to the hotel's amenities.

Cleanliness
The Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw hotel provides a very clean and comfortable stay for guests. Many reviewers rave about the cleanliness of the hotel, mentioning that the rooms, bathrooms and common areas are spotless. Guests appreciate the attention to detail - from the vacuumed carpets to the wiped-down tables and nightstands. The updated facility is equipped with plenty of sanitary stations, ensuring a clean and safe environment. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ensuring that the guests' needs are met. Unfortunately, a few reviewers did express disappointment with the cleanliness of their rooms, citing dusty shelves and footprints on the floor. One guest reported finding mildew on the bathroom ceiling, while another found a black handprint on the shower wall. Overall, the hotel provides a very clean and comfortable stay with a few isolated incidents of less-than-ideal cleanliness.

Staff
Guests staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw were more than happy with the hotel staff who they described as "awesome", "friendly", "excellent" and "helpful". Many complimented the night receptionist who was "always awesome and friendly", while others praised the "exceptional customer service" and the "courteous and helpful" attitude of all the employees. Guests were also appreciative of the hotel's cleanliness and safety measures during the pandemic. The only negative feedback was a few comments about inexperienced or unfriendly staff, but these were in the minority. Overall, guests loved the hospitality of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel.

Pool
Guests have shared mixed reviews about the pool experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw. While some guests enjoyed the heated pool, clean water and fun atmosphere for their children, others have shared their disappointment with the pool's closure or lack of warm temperature. A few guests were disappointed to learn upon arrival that the pool was closed for maintenance, while others felt misled by the hotel's advertisement of having an operational pool. However, the hotel did notify guests ahead of time about the pool's closure and also offered passes to a sister hotel for swimming. Some guests have also suggested scheduling a time to swim for a better experience, while others have found the pool overcrowded with noisy children and inattentive parents. Despite the concerns about pool maintenance, many travelers appreciate the pool as a fun amenity and bonding space for family vacations with one guest noting that their children even made friends at the pool.

Family
The Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw is a perfect spot for families looking for a fun, kid-friendly stay. Upon arriving, we noticed several families enjoying parties, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Kids will be thrilled to know that they can easily purchase upgraded Wi-Fi with just their last name and room number, keeping them connected during their stay. Despite concerns over Covid, the hotel still offered a hearty breakfast, including delicious scrambled eggs, potatoes and sliced Polish sausage, as well as bagels, toast and cold cereal. Although some reviewers noted a lack of consistency, the hotel makes up for it with its convenient location near Frankenmuth and other attractions. Travelers with little ones will appreciate the amenities provided, including a pool that kids will love. While some guests had issues with room cleanliness and bed arrangements, the positives outweigh any minor inconveniences. Overall, the Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw is a fun little family stay that your kids will love.

3 Star
The Hampton Inn & Suites Saginaw is an excellent facility, located perfectly for our needs. The staff is pleasant and nice, although the check-in process can take a while. Due to COVID, there was no breakfast provided, but the hotel offered a breakfast in a bag upon request. While the breakfast was good, it lacked variety after having the same thing for five days. The bathroom and shower were a little outdated and the room was small. Housekeeping needs improvement to merit another stay and the hotel needs stricter policies and a better maintenance system. Some guests found their stay mediocre or poor and were disappointed with poor communication and overpricing. However, some guests found the hotel to be passable and pleasant.
