Excellent

Location

Nestled in a lovely woodside setting, Longueville Manor offers a wonderful and beautiful setting for a peaceful getaway. Despite being a bit out of town, the location of the hotel was still excellent with less than 5 minutes walk from local bus service that connects to all parts of the Island. The hotel boasts of spectacular grounds and large gardens for a truly relaxing stay. However, some guests expressed that a shuttle service to St Helier would be nice. Nonetheless, the hotel's beautiful grounds more than make up for the minor inconvenience.

Breakfast

The breakfast at Longueville Manor is truly exceptional with an excellent selection of dishes that are well served by the attentive staff. Ingredients grown on site and locally sourced ingredients make for delicious and exceptional food. The breakfast is so good, in fact, that it can last the whole day! Guests can enjoy the delicious food and beautiful dining room at their own pace with a great choice of dishes available including a bacon sandwich, all-day bar menu and children's menu. While some guests found the breakfast service a little slow, the majority raved about the amazing food and superb breakfast experience!

Dinner

Longueville Manor boasts an exceptional restaurant experience with delicious gourmet food and an excellent wine selection. Guests rave about the fresh quality produce, expertly executed cooking and beautiful presentation. The attention to detail and faultless service make every meal an amazing experience. However, some guests mention that the meals can be a bit limited in choice and the dinner prices may be considered overpriced by some. It's worth noting that the vegetarian main course falls short of expectations according to some and the dinner portions may be considered a little small by others. Despite that, the restaurant is fantastic overall and the chateaubriand, halibut and goats cheese fondant are standouts. Dining here is a fine wining and dining experience with exceptional food that will leave guests wanting more.

The building and furnishings are first class and everything is kept very clean. The hotel has lovely grounds and the public areas are tastefully furnished. Despite the chillier weather in October, the outdoor pool is a great feature for the summer months. Guests who stayed during this time loved the pool and grounds but found the water too cold to use during their stay. And while the hotel was fabulous overall, some visitors felt it could benefit from fast EV charging points, as the island lacked this facility.
