The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is a peaceful oasis located in an excellent location on the Torrey Pines Golf course overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Guests loved the convenience of being close to Torrey Pines Nature Reserve trailheads, La Jolla and Del Mar. The hotel is a great getaway with fabulous views and beautiful grounds. The location is perfect for those attending appointments at Scripps or UCSD. The hotel offers stunning views of the golf course and the ocean from the rooms and the dining room. Despite being a little far from Lajolla, guests appreciated the location's tranquility and the proximity to the beach. Even though there is no beach access, the pool area is great. The property is very clean and has a nice pool. The hotel is a golfer's paradise, being right on the Torrey Pines country club. The location's convenience and safety were also appreciated by guests.

Guests enjoyed the great room size with comfy beds and a great big TV and appreciated the extra steps taken for cleanliness amidst COVID-19. However, the cost of daily parking and no free wifi were mentioned as negatives. Some guests felt that it was a 3-4 star stay at a 5 star price and that the hotel did not deserve its 4-star status. Overall, the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines provided a pleasant stay for guests, but some found it short and expensive with uncomfortable beds and a lack of daily room cleaning.
