Hosteria del Mar is the perfect location for anyone looking to stay close to the beach in San Juan. Located in Ocean Park, this hotel is just a block from the sand, making it extremely convenient for beachgoers. There are also plenty of great eateries nearby serving up delicious cuisine to satisfy your cravings. Plus, the hotel is just a short distance from the airport, Plaza Las Américas Mall, Old San Juan, La Placite Santucre and Distrido TMobile, providing quick and easy access to all the city has to offer.

If you're looking to explore further, there are plenty of options, including a 20-minute drive to Piñones beaches, a 10-minute walk to local stores, restaurants and bars and Uber rides for $8 or less to most places. The hotel even has an amazing bar with an ocean view where you can bring your own drinks.

The area surrounding the hotel is also nice, albeit some guests reported it looking like a fortress with barbed wires and cameras. Nonetheless, the location is perfect for enjoying the night life and feeling safe while doing so. While there may not be a beach directly in front of the hotel, guests reported that it's just a short walk away. Ocean view rooms are also available for those who want to enjoy a breathtaking view of the ocean.
