The lady who met us upon arrival was absolutely lovely, allowing us to leave our bags in reception and even giving us an early key so we could explore the town before our room was ready. The location truly is the standout feature here and it can't be faulted in any way. It's easily accessible via train from Ryde and with a supermarket just a few minutes away on foot, everything a guest could need is right at their fingertips. Overall, the Royal Pier hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a great beachfront stay.

Family

If you're looking for a family-friendly hotel with lots of options for kids, Royal Pier is a great choice. The pool is a big hit with young ones and the spacious family rooms offer nice views, including some with balconies on the seafront. Additionally, the hotel staff was very accommodating to those with special needs, including those in a coach party. Couples with very young children found it to be an ideal place for a night away.
