Location

Vintners Resort is nestled in the heart of Sonoma, a perfect location for exploring the area's local wineries and restaurants. Situated just off the highway, the resort feels isolated from noise and commotion, surrounded by acres of breathtaking vineyards that remind you of a little bit of Italy. The location is exceptional, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that's lovely to walk around with many trails around the vineyards to explore. The resort itself is well kept with so many amenities available to guests. The property sits amongst the vineyard and the resort in front of the vineyard ensures there is no noise, making it the perfect spot for a peaceful break. Despite being close to the airport and the power grid center, the location of Vintners Resort is a pleasant surprise overall and the magnificent views of the vineyard make it worth a visit.

Breakfast

If you're staying at Vintners Resort, be sure not to miss out on the breakfast offerings. With wonderful breakfast choices at River Vine, Front Room and John Ash and excellent service and food during breakfast and dinner, you're sure to have a great dining experience. The food itself is simply mind-blowing with delicious options that include excellent choices of breakfast. The breakfast staff is attentive and awesome, making breakfast delivery great whether enjoyed in-room or at the restaurant. While some guests found the options limited and service slow, the great food and lovely choices make up for it. The best part? Breakfast should be included with your stay, so don't let anyone charge you for it. Overall, the breakfast at Vintners Resort is excellent and even the best room service breakfast ever. Just be sure to skip dinner if you're looking for something more enjoyable than insipid.

Some even had the opportunity to enjoy outdoor dining off the same menu as the dinner guests with reservations. However, there are some negative reviews with guests warning not to eat at John Ash, as it may not live up to the standard of the rooms. Despite this, overall, the food at the resort is described as excellent and one of the most delicious places during their trip.

Additionally, there were a few issues with noisy guests walking on floors late at night, water draining slowly from the bathtub and ants in the bathroom. Overall, Vintners Resort offered a beautiful environment and comfortable accommodations which some guests called the nicest they had ever stayed in.

The spa features an indoor heated pool and sauna, which attracted many guests to the hotel. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the spa and cafe were closed during some weekdays. The nice fitness center was unfortunately only available to spa guests, not hotel guests. One disappointed guest had to leave early due to an emergency and was unable to complete their scheduled spa session. Despite these restrictions, the spa facilities were open (except for the gym and spa) for those who were able to access them. Overall, guests recommend the spa and plan on returning when it's open again.
