Located in a stunning and convenient area, this property is perfect for those who seek to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Although it may be a bit of a drive to reach the nearby towns, Carefree and Cave Creek, the gorgeous location more than makes up for it. With access to nature trails and scenic drives, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with the great outdoors. Plus, the hotel itself is situated in a quiet and peaceful suburb, allowing for a truly tranquil retreat. Be sure to stock up on snacks and essentials at the convenient store before you settle in to make the most of this incredible location.

Rooms

CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa offers well-designed, spacious rooms that are excellent and wonderful with beautiful amenities and comfortable beds. However, some rooms may be dated and in need of care, such as the wood countertops and heavily stained carpets. While the bathrooms are clean, they could use deeper cleaning more often. Despite this, the rooms are a good size and face towards the back of the facility for added privacy. Guests suggest that the hotel could provide a few more amenities, such as water glasses, but overall, the rooms are comfortable and offer a good night's sleep. It's worth noting that some rooms may be near a machine room, but this shouldn't be too much of a disturbance.

Staff

The staff at CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa are exceptional according to guest reviews. They are described as excellent, welcoming, kind, caring and attentive. Guests can conveniently text staff for requests throughout their stay and the front desk staff member, Jordan, was amazing. There were some guest complaints about snooty staff, but overall, the service was outstanding. The staff treats the resort like it's not work and the owners are credited for this. The bellman was described as awesome and the hospitality was excellent. All of the staff members were knowledgeable and very friendly. The guests and employees were described as being very friendly and welcoming to everyone.

Spa

The CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa is hard to beat when it comes to overall wellness experience. Their spa is top-notch and it shows - offering everything from aqua therapy circuits to fantastic massages. We highly recommend booking a spa day during your stay. However, be warned that prices may run expensive and not all spa services come with the same level of customer service. Please note that some of the facilities require purchasing a spa service to use, such as the lap pool. But if you want a fantastic spa experience, CIVANA is definitely worth the visit.
