Dinner
The dining experience at Amara Resort & Spa has received a lot of positive feedback from guests. The food and bar drinks were especially great and many guests enjoyed some outstanding meals at the restaurant. The Salt Rock Kitchen was highly recommended for its tasty food, while some guests also appreciated the creative cocktails and the stellar serving staff. A few guests did have some minor complaints about the food not being as good as it should for the prices charged or the limited dining options even for Covid standards. However, the majority of guests were highly satisfied and praised the excellent chef for preparing outstanding meals. The only downside was the early closing time of 8 pm, which some guests found to be a bit limiting. Overall, guests highly recommended dining at the hotel restaurant over other options in town with one guest even stating that the food was better than other restaurants in the area!

Rooms
Amara Resort & Spa offers a wide range of rooms for guests to choose from. Reviews show that the facility is clean and comfortable, while some guests mentioned that the carpet was not in the best state. Although some reviewers found the rooms rather ordinary and not luxurious enough for the price, others loved their rooms - especially those with a creek or mountain view. While some found the decor dark and gloomy, others described the rooms as modern and spacious with a great attention to detail. A few reviewers found the rooms run-down or dated, but most were satisfied with the comfortable and spacious accommodations. Some guests praise the outdoor space complete with an infinity pool, bar and lounge area. However, others were disappointed with the underwhelming views of the red rocks or with the fact that their room looked nothing like the actual pictures online. Reviews also mention concerns such as bad smells, frayed robes, stains on lounge chairs and moldy bathroom smells. Overall, while some guests found the rooms underwhelming, most reviews were positive, highlighting the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations.

Beds
The Amara Resort & Spa has some excellent qualities, including their comfortable beds that guests rave about. Guests have mentioned how they have had a good night's sleep thanks to the super comfortable beds provided by the hotel. However, some have mentioned that the beds were too soft, too firm or uncomfortable with sags. They also commented on the need for improvement in the bed linens and pillows. Nevertheless, guests have appreciated the cleanliness of the beds. The only downside was a leg of the bed that some people bumped their feet on. Overall, the beds are firm and comfortable with some room for improvement in terms of bed linens and pillows.

Cleanliness
The Amara Resort & Spa is praised for its cleanliness and comfortable accommodations by many of its guests. The resort is well-maintained and features modern and well-designed renovated rooms that are both spacious and comfortable. The hotel grounds are also very clean and well-kept. While a few guests expressed minor concerns about wear and tear, the staff is taking extra measures to ensure a clean environment, particularly in response to COVID-19. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as a lack of counter space or squishy pillows, most guests found the hotel to be a great value and conveniently located. Despite some negative reviews noting that the spa was just average, most guests enjoyed their treatments and the relaxing atmosphere. However, some guests were disappointed when they encountered unavailability or closures to the spa and steam room. Overall, the spa was relaxing and the treatments were excellent.

Pool
One of the highlights that guests praise in reviews of Amara Resort & Spa is the pool, which features a stunning view overlooking the river. Although some guests acknowledge that the pool area is small and can become crowded with limited seating, others say the pool and courtyard are truly lovely or even ideal. Visitors note that while there is no pool bar service during the week, there is convenient bar service available at other times. The infinity pool with its beautiful view, is another commonly mentioned amenity. Some guests suggest that the hotel could improve the pool experience by expanding the pool area or removing the gate, but others appreciate the heated pool and multiple outdoor fireplaces. Despite some minor complaints, the pool receives high marks from many guests.

Parking
Amara Resort & Spa offers complimentary valet parking for the entire stay and the valet parking service was praised by guests as being great. However, some guests found the valet parking system to be a bit inconvenient, especially if they had to pop in and out of the hotel frequently between hikes. The only downside to the complimentary valet parking is that some families or guests with multiple pieces of luggage found it to be a bit of a pain. Additionally, the hill to get in and out of the hotel was noted as being steep. Overall, the valet parking service at Amara Resort & Spa was positively reviewed, but some guests found it a bit inconvenient depending on their needs.
