At Siglufjörður you can enjoy peace and quiet in a comfortable environment with a breathtaking view. The Herring House offers four bedrooms with shared facilities and two cabins with private bathroom and an outdoor shower. The Herring House is located next to the church, only two minutes’ walk from the town´s center. It stands on a big yard and has a beautiful garden with terraces and spectacular mountain and ocean view as well as a view of the town´s square. The Herring House is a perfect place where you can wash your day off in our hot tub and outdoor shower and enjoy the fresh Icelandic air. Enjoy the afternoon sitting on the terrace gazing at the spectacular mountains and the midnight sun during the summertime. And for winter visitors, Siglufjörður is the ideal location for a family vacation, enjoying various winter sport and view the northern lights.
