Location
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino is a great place to stay in State Line, NV. Guests particularly enjoyed the spectacular views from the restaurant and their rooms, as well as the convenience of the location. The hotel is in the hub of everything, making it the most convenient place to visit the casino, do some gambling, walking and shopping. It is also a short walk from the gondola, which is essential for skiers. The hotel and casino are conveniently located within walking distance from other casinos, shops and restaurants. Guests raved about the view, amenities and parking. The hotel is perfect for morning coffee with the Starbucks close to the elevator and guests loved that it was right across the street where they had dinner reservations. The location was also great for convenience when walking to see the town. It is a great location for sightseeing and the overall stay was excellent. However, some reviewers mention that they may prefer to stay in a California hotel next time and others found the location decent but mediocre in comparison to other options.

Rooms
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino offers comfortable and spacious rooms with some even featuring two bathrooms, which guests found unexpected and nice. The rooms were clean and had great views of the lake and mountains. Guests enjoyed the comfortable beds, large couches and well-equipped rooms. Some rooms were a bit outdated and in need of renovation, but staff were accommodating in moving guests to refreshed rooms. However, some guests experienced issues such as worn-out furniture, peeling wallpaper and broken blinds. Despite some COVID restrictions, guests appreciated the helpful staff and Starbucks in the lobby. Overall, the hotel provided a good stay, especially for those looking for easy access to nearby entertainment.

Beds
The beds at Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino have received mixed reviews from guests with some describing them as extremely comfortable, great and very comfy. However, others found them to be old and uncomfortable, sunken in and not suitable for a four-night stay. Some rooms had separate beds due to their size and some guests ended up in a room with two queen beds instead of a king-sized bed. The pillows were too soft for some and one guest found hair on one of the bedsheets. Additionally, some guests noted that the rooms and mattresses smelt smoky. Overall, while some guests enjoyed their bedding experience at Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, others were left wanting more comfortable and cleaner beds.

Cleanliness
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino is a comfortable and clean place to stay in Lake Tahoe. Most guests were pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms were and appreciated the constant sanitizing efforts of the employees. The service was good and the location was close to everything. However, some facilities were a bit tired and a few guests noticed wear and tear in their rooms. Some guests had issues with COVID-related restrictions, such as no maid service, but overall, the hotel was quiet and clean. However, there were a few negative comments about the cleanliness, including dirty carpets, tables at food courts and bars not being clean and maintenance issues in some rooms. Despite this, the majority of guests found the rooms to be clean and spacious with good service.

Staff
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino boasts of a great location and friendly staff. The check-in process was smooth and the front desk staff was helpful. Despite that, certain staff members like Norma and Lenoy were outstanding and went above and beyond in their roles. Overall, the hotel and its personnel were good, although some guests felt the need for updating and better management response.

Some guests found the parking lot to be confusing or hard to find upon arrival, but many enjoyed the views from their higher floors overlooking the parking garage. Although there were some complaints about the extra cost of parking or resort fees, guests appreciated the honesty of the hotel when it came to pricing. Overall, while the parking situation could have been better, it did not detract from the overall enjoyable experience at Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino.

Family
If you're looking for a family-friendly destination in Lake Tahoe, Harrah's Hotel & Casino should definitely be on your list. Guests rave about the size of the rooms, especially the Twin Queen rooms that come with two bathrooms - perfect for larger families. However, one review notes an unfortunate incident where a racial slur on the walls of the arcade room was not properly addressed by hotel staff. On the upside, the location is great and easily accessible to many fun activities. While some reviewers mention no mention of family-specific amenities or services, many others highlight the convenience of the two bathrooms for their family of five. Despite a lack of cleaning service, guests appreciate the availability of extra towels upon request. Overall, Harrah's Hotel & Casino seems like a solid choice for a Lake Tahoe family vacation.

Ski
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino is a great location for those looking to hit the slopes during their stay. Guests have praised the hotel's proximity to the Heavenly Gondola with some describing it as just a short walk away. The convenience of being able to access the ski resort easily is a major plus for winter sports enthusiasts. While a few negative reviews mention disappointment with their stay over Thanksgiving, the majority of reviews focus on the positive aspects of the hotel's location for skiing. Guests appreciate being close to the ski rental shops and access to the resort itself. Some reviews mention the comfort of the room and the equipment available for skiing. For those looking to mix skiing with gambling, this hotel is the perfect choice.

4 Star
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino is located in an excellent spot with several nearby food choices and a great view. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the breakfast at the American River Cafe is consistently very good. However, due to COVID-19, the hotel has some annoying glitches such as restrictions on restaurant occupancy and room cleaning. Some guests also found the hotel to be in need of updating with dated rooms and doors in need of painting. Despite this, many guests had a superb experience with great staff, quick valet service and comfortable rooms. Overall, Harrah's Lake Tahoe is a good choice for those looking for a passable stay option in a prime location.

Casino
Harrah's Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino caters to those who enjoy casino action with its convenient location and bustling gaming floor. While some guests found the air circulation poor and the smoke excessive, others enjoyed meeting friends for blues night and appreciated the clean facilities and friendly personnel. The twin queen rooms with two bathrooms were particularly impressive and despite some reviews calling the casino dodgy or not good, many still liked the casino and found it nice. Though the lobby and casino are smoking areas, the non-smoking rooms were free of any lingering odors. All in all, a fine choice for those seeking a hotel with casino entertainment.
