The village nearby offers a bakery, café and a couple of restaurants with good caldera views. The island is perfect for hiking and mountain biking and there is a charming town with great restaurants. Thirasia Island is an excellent option for those looking to experience the true Greece without tourists. The location of Zacharo Rooms cannot be more perfect and Monsieur Jimmy, the owner, offers a warm welcome and incredible views from the terrace. It is a peaceful spot for those who enjoy stunning views of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea and the village nearby has everything one would need. It's a paradise that is yet to be polluted by mass tourism, so if you're looking for a true Greek experience, Thirasia Island should be at the top of your list.
