Breakfast
The breakfast at TLH Derwent Hotel is reviewed as hit or miss. While some guests were very happy with the good choice of menu and a wide variety of options that catered to everyone, others criticised the lack of vegetarian options and the fact that breakfast was a bit late. The buffet breakfast was highly rated with plenty of options available and excellent selection of food. Guests enjoyed the lovely breakfasts, but some noted the absence of mushrooms. Hygiene and quality issues were mentioned in a few reviews, such as watery scrambled egg, bland sausages and rancid bacon. Overall, the breakfast was considered as pretty standard, good or excellent with varied choices and self-service options.

Dinner
TLH Derwent Hotel offers plenty of delicious dining options for both breakfast and dinner. Many guests commented on the excellent quality of the food and the friendly staff. However, some guests regretted purchasing the dinner inclusive package due to disappointing school dinner-like meals, which included overcooked meats and tasteless sides. Despite this, others found the self-service dinner to be very good and some even described it as great value. The hotel's bistro and restaurant were both praised with many guests enjoying the delish bistro bar food and lovely restaurant vibe. Those unable to book dinner at the hotel's restaurant opted to eat out instead. Overall, while there were some negative reviews, TLH Derwent Hotel's dinner options still received positive feedback from many guests.

The size of the rooms was also a common point of contention with some feeling they were too small or cramped. However, there were also positive comments about the size and cleanliness of some rooms. Overall, while some guests were satisfied with the basic facilities and good location of the hotel, others felt that it was not worth the money due to the substandard rooms and outdated decor.

Overall, if you're in need of some rest and relaxation, the Aztec spa and pool are definitely worth a visit.

Pool
The TLH Derwent Hotel, part of the TLH Leisure Resort, boasts fantastic facilities, including a lovely indoor pool and great swimming facilities that kids and adults will enjoy. The pool and location are a definite plus, but unfortunately, some guests found the pool temperature too cold or the indoor pool to be cold altogether. Aside from the pools, guests can also access entertainment, leisure and food on-site. The small indoor pool is perfectly heated for younger children and the outside pool and jacuzzi are a nice touch. However, some visitors found the parking inadequate and lifeguards to be distracted at times. Overall, the TLH Derwent Hotel has excellent facilities available for all ages in all weathers, making it the perfect destination for a family vacation.

Parking
The TLH Derwent Hotel offers convenient on-site parking, but guests have found the parking situation to be inadequate at times. Some have had to spend up to 45 minutes searching for a parking space or were disappointed to find that there were not enough spaces available upon arrival. However, the hotel management has been accommodating with one guest receiving the manager's personal parking space for her disabled husband. While some have found the parking system to be unfair, others have found it advantageous and appreciate the ability to reserve a parking space. Additionally, guests should be aware that the nearby Victoria car park can fill up quickly. Despite the occasional parking nightmare, the TLH Derwent Hotel does offer free parking for guests.

Family
TLH Derwent Hotel in TLH Leisure Resort offers fantastic facilities and entertainment for families with kids. The swimming pools are really good and kids can enjoy soft play and entertainment. However, some guests complained about un supervised children running around and noisy people, which may not be suitable for young couples. Despite small towels and only two pillows, the hotel is a great resort for families with excellent facilities suitable for all ages, including indoor activities for all weathers. Kids will love it here, as reflected in the positive reviews from families who have visited. However, vegetarian guests may find limited food options. Overall, the TLH Derwent Hotel is a pleasant family trip destination that is worth considering.

3 Star
TLH Derwent Hotel - TLH Leisure, Entertainment and Spa Resort offers a peaceful retreat for guests looking for a quiet few days break. However, some guests found the hotel to be a bit aged and a little dated in places, calling for updates and a good paint job. Although the hotel is only rated three stars, guests found their stay to be pleasant overall. However, there were some issues with the facilities and services. Some guests were disappointed with the late check-in time and the room wasn't ready until 4.30. Others complained about the basic amenities in the room, such as the tiny and uncomfortable single bed. The breakfast was deemed 'ok' by some guests, but there were no exceptional comments towards it. Overall, while it may not be the most luxurious hotel, guests can enjoy a quiet stay at the TLH Derwent Hotel, but be aware of the possible limitations of the facilities and services.

Accessible
The TLH Derwent Hotel, located within the TLH Leisure Resort, offers good disabled access for guests. The hotel has made efforts to provide accessible facilities, although some guests have noted tight hallways and poor disabled facilities. It is worth noting that the hotel is housed in an old building, so there may be limited options for improving accessibility. Despite this, the property is well maintained and accessibility is provided for. A ramp in addition to steps to the reception area would have been preferred by some guests with limited mobility. Guests with disabilities should be aware that there are no safety hand rails in the showers. Overall, the TLH Derwent Hotel is easy accessible, but some improvements could be made to better accommodate guests with disabilities.

Indoor Pool
The TLH Derwent Hotel boasts a lovely indoor pool, which is just one of the many excellent facilities offered at the hotel. Guests can enjoy the spa, gym and multiple swimming pools including the indoor pool which is perfect for a refreshing swim or a relaxing sauna. The smaller indoor pool is heated perfectly for younger children to enjoy too. However, some guests have noted that the indoor pool is cold and that the rusting around it can make it look dirty. Despite this, many guests have still enjoyed the swimming facilities and would recommend the TLH Derwent Hotel to others. The only downside seems to be the narrow corridors and tired-looking carpets.
