Location

If you're looking for a stunning, beautiful location for your next beach vacation, Long Bay Beach Resort might be just the spot for you. Although it's a bit tough to reach from Road Town, the location is very close to several other great restaurants and is even close enough to walk to Smuggler's Cove. The beachfront property offers beach access and ocean views that are absolutely amazing with rooms situated right on the beach. Everywhere on the property has wonderful views and the hotel is situated right on the water with a spectacular view of Jost van Dyke and the ocean. It's a great tranquil location with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway.

Dinner

Long Bay Beach Resort offers an on-site restaurant, called 1748, that serves delicious food. Although some guests felt that the menu didn't vary and needed upgrades, the overall experience at the restaurant was wonderful. The lovely restaurant and adjoining bars provide a beautiful atmosphere for enjoying meals and drinks. While some guests noted high prices at the restaurant, others appreciated the delicious menu offerings, including a standout Wagyu-Beef-Burger. However, some guests experienced hit or miss meals at the restaurant and felt that service could be improved. It's worth noting that the restaurant didn't open until 6PM and the only food available at the bar was sushi. Nevertheless, the majority of guests enjoyed their dining experience at Long Bay Beach Resort.

Rooms

Long Bay Beach Resort has incredibly pretty decor and beautiful, spacious rooms that are cleaned well daily. The linens are comfortable and the rooms look exactly like the pictures online. The bedrooms are airy, comfortable and perfect for relaxation. The waterfront rooms are breathtaking with amazing views and the villas provide amazing views with patios literally on the beach. The rooms are modern, beautifully furnished and the bathroom and shower area are amazing with some rooms having huge showers that open onto the sand. Guests loved the beautiful and comfortable rooms, though some of the Hillside suites are a bit run down. Nonetheless, guests really appreciated the rooms, especially the spaciousness and the comfort of the beds.

Staff

Long Bay Beach Resort boasts an amazing staff which is one of the main reasons guests keep coming back. They are accommodating, professional and friendly, providing keen attention and amazing care to guests throughout their stay. From the moment of arrival, guests are greeted by a wonderful and friendly staff with delicious rum punches. The manager, Akeel, stands out as he is extremely attentive and always available to address guest needs and coordinate day trips and cabs. Guests also appreciate the helpful and friendly staff such as Akil and Karema who go above and beyond to assist with anything guests may need. Even with some staffing shortages, the team is doing their best to ensure guests have an amazing stay. Meals, drinks and beach days are relaxing and enjoyable, thanks to the attentive nature of the team. Although some guests have had negative experiences with the wait staff being short tempered or the reception being unreliable, these seem to be rare occurrences. Overall, guests rave about the delightful staff and their experience at Long Bay Beach Resort.

Long Bay Beach Resort boasts a beautiful, stunning and gorgeous beachfront property with a long beach perfect to explore. The hotel is situated right on the water, providing guests with amazing views of the beach and some rooms are just a few steps away from the sand. While the shoreline can be rocky, providing bigger waves, the pristine beach nearby is fantastic and some guests enjoyed lounging on the beachfront. However, some guests found the beach too wavey and rocky to swim in, but overall, the beach is incredible and perfect for guests looking to soak up the sun and relax on their vacation.
