Hotel Boutique TerraNova is located in the Veleta neighborhood, a safe area with lots of great restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. The location is perfect for excursions and allows for a quiet and peaceful stay away from the main strip of Tulum. The pool area at the hotel gives a beautiful jungle feeling and the hotel is conveniently located near fantastic bars and restaurants. While the hotel is a little far from the town center, guests can easily rent a bike or scooter to get around. The area is also close enough to authentic restaurants and bars. The hotel is situated in the new and quiet in-district of La Veleta and has available parking outside. Some guests recommend renting a car as it is needed to reach the beach and downtown Tulum. Overall, the location is very good for exploring Tulum and getting a sense of the city's unique vibe.

The spacious and well-decorated studio comes with a fridge and free still water, however, there is no taque for cooking and the furniture in the studio is decorative but not functional for cooking. All rooms have superb contemporary decor with good showers, comfortable beds and pillows. Some of the rooms have a view and the amenities/details are perfect, including free still water. Some guests were upgraded to the beautiful "treehouse" rooms that are gorgeously constructed and decorated and Rafaelle, the hotel manager, made it possible for both them and their friends to be upgraded, allowing them all to stay together. Although some guests mentioned that the bed and pillows were very hard or that the bed felt shorter than usual, the overall feedback about the rooms was positive. The hotel is situated in a central location near the bus station and the old town and the petite, charming hotel has a nice and clean outdoor swimming pool.

The receptionists, Bani and Gabriel, were top-notch and provided valuable tips for our stay. The entire team, including Rafa (the owner), was extremely friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to communicate with us and help plan our stay. The hosts were always on hand, providing great restaurant recommendations and insights into the best places to go and how to get there. Rafa, Valentina and Gabriel were amazing and ensured that we felt at home during our stay. The staff's kindness, attentiveness and willingness to go above and beyond truly set Hotel Boutique TerraNova apart. We cannot recommend this hotel enough - it's an absolute must-stay!
