While it's not oceanfront as advertised, the beach club sort of attached to the hotel was awful. The location between downtown and the beach is fantastic, but if you have to take a daily taxi it can be a bit of an issue. Lucky for guests, the hotel rents out bikes to make getting around town easier. Overall, the Kimpton Aluna Resort Tulum is situated in a meh location but is perfect for those seeking a quiet spot between the action of downtown and the relaxation of the beach.
