Location

Kokomo Botanical Resort - Caribbean Family Cottages is located in a prime location that's very central and conveniently close to a grocery store, a great pizza/wing place and minutes away from the beach. Guests enjoyed the excellent location that was perfect for exploring the island and had parking right outside their rooms. The hospitality is also stellar and the resort is within walking distance of a supermarket. However, some guests noted that a car was required to get around and eat, as the location wasn't necessarily walkable to anything outside of the resort. It's also important to note that the resort is not directly on the beach and beach umbrellas were not well attended. Overall, the location was excellent, but keep in mind transportation may be necessary for some activities.

Dinner

Guests who dined at the Kokomo Botanical Resort's restaurant praised the food and presentation, describing it as delicious and amazing. However, some found the prices to be a bit high. While the menu was reportedly limited and the restaurant did not have a chef, the restaurant manager was able to whip up some bar snacks until a chef arrived. The facility is very nice with lots of space between the bungalows, ensuring privacy. The cottages are nicely renovated and the beds are very comfortable. Plus, the huge patio and grill provide ample space for outdoor dining. The property features beautiful landscaping and guests can enjoy the gorgeous garden. The 2 bedroom villa is exactly the size needed for a getaway. The rooms were clean, cozy and convenient and had everything we needed from the kitchenette and utensils right down to shampoo and conditioner. Guests were mostly happy with the Wi-Fi service and there was youtube on the TV. Some upgraded cabins are available at an extra cost. However, some guests were not happy with the small bathrooms and outdated furniture in the rooms. If there is a way to resolve the small bathroom issue, it would be a big help. Overall, the landscaping, comfort and amenities were beautiful and more than guests expected.
