Jannata Resort and Spa, located in the heart of the Balinese jungle, is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of Ubud center. All rooms boast amazing views of the valley or canopy of the rainforest, providing guests with a stunning once in a lifetime experience. Though a bit out of the way, the resort offers a free shuttle to town and airport transport. The peaceful and beautiful location allows guests to relax and take in the majestic scenery. The resort is also home to two magnificent pools with breathtaking views. The helpful and friendly staff make for a memorable stay. While a scooter or car is necessary to reach Ubud center, the resort's unique location and surroundings make it well worth the trip.

Breakfast

Jannata Resort and Spa offers a diverse breakfast menu, including both Western and traditional Indonesian options for all three meals. The floating breakfast is a divine experience with good food and delivery service. Some guests found the breakfast to be average or meh, but others described it as great, delicious and awesome. The food quality is generally good, but some guests found the portion sizes to be small and the prices too high. A few guests also suggested that the breakfast could be more varied and accommodating for longer stays. The staff is friendly and helpful with service and cleaning provided twice a day. The resort offers necessary amenities, including television with Netflix and YouTube, hot and cold showers and beautiful bathtubs. The location is quiet and peaceful with amazing views from the rooms and pool. However, a small minority of guests encountered uncomfortable beds, smelly rooms or outdated furnishings. Despite these minor issues, most guests have a fantastic stay and highly recommend the resort.

Although some found the beds a bit too hard for their liking, the majority loved the comfy and cozy feel of the rooms. The Balinese style interior, two types of pillows and bath essentials added to guests' overall experience. While a few guests reported some minor issues with dead and flying insects gathering on the beds, the staff was quick to address the issue and provided new beddings at night. Overall, Jannata Resort and Spa offers a magnificent view from the balcony, well-equipped and clean rooms and incredibly comfortable beds.

Cleanliness

"Jannata Resort and Spa" is a very clean and well-maintained hotel. While some guests noted that the sheets and towels could use an update, overall the hotel is kept to higher hygienic standards. The interior may show some wear and tear, but the rooms are nice, comfy and clean. Staff may not always wear masks, but the hotel is very clean and everything is thought of to make your stay perfect. While there may be bugs and lizards around the property, the hotel is very clean and guests reported no insects in their rooms. Some guests did report issues with cleaning, such as forgotten trash or lack of towel changes, but overall cleaning was good quality. The pool is beautiful and clean, surrounded by nature.

Every staff member you encounter takes outstanding pictures, making your memories of the incredible location and stunning pool views even sweeter. The community of staff extend themselves in a lovely personal manner, providing excellent service overall. And, if you're lucky enough to interact with Merry, you'll experience just how wonderful the staff can be. The hotel is well-maintained, clean and modern with all the amenities in a beautiful jungle view setting. If you're looking for a place with attentive staff and exceptional service, Jannata Resort and Spa is a great choice.

The couples massage was a particular highlight for many with one guest describing it as the best spa treatment they've ever had. Even though the spa was closed for renovations during some guests' stays, the hotel offered discounted in-room massages that were amazing. The spa staff received high marks for their professionalism and skill with one guest singling out Tini for her superb service. If you're not in the mood for a massage, there are still plenty of great amenities to enjoy, including a pool and a yoga space. While a few guests had minor complaints here and there, on the whole, the spa at Jannata Resort and Spa received glowing reviews.
