The location is perfect, according to visitors, who appreciated the staff's hospitality and the range of activities presented. Though the hotel is not directly in the centre of Ubud, it is well located and it's easy to communicate with the hotel to organise drivers if needed. For those who prefer a quiet spot away from the busy part of town, but not too far away, Kamandalu Ubud is a great option. Note that there is no valley view and it's a long walk down to the villa. However, the transfers available 24 hours a day with wonderful drivers speaking good English and familiar with the island make up for these minor downsides.
