Taj Lake Palace Udaipur is a beautiful hotel that is a wonder in itself with lovely artifacts. The hotel rooms and ambiance are great and the room views are excellent. The sunset lake views from the rooms are awe-inspiring and mesmerizing. The private balconies are perfect for picturesque moments and great photographs. However, note that the building is very historic and some rooms can be small or cozy. Some washrooms are tiny and require restoration. Also, some amenities might be missing and the temperature controllers might not be great. But the showers are excellent and the bed and room sizes are satisfactory. The property is well maintained and very tidy. The suite Sajjan Niwas is amazing and worth the stay. Some rooms have a private jacuzzi with a view of Raj Mandir on Lake Pichola, which is totally worth it. Some hotel rooms have DVD players, but some views from certain rooms might not work. A few parts of the hotel are filled with pigeon droppings, but the overall cleanliness is commendable. The staff are helpful and upgrade guests to lake view rooms sometimes. Overall, the rooms at the Taj Lake Palace Udaipur might have varying sizes and decor, but they are spacious, luxurious, clean and comfortable.
