The beautiful resort offers a plethora of activities for kids, including indoor and outdoor kiddie pools, smores campfire, game room where children had a great time. The outdoor pool has basketball hoops and slides and the water is super warm. The availability of a playground nearby and being within walking distance to the water, restaurants/bars was a huge plus. The rooms were perfect for families with screen doors and an indoor pool with balls to occupy the children during rainy days. The resort didn't disappoint with plenty of restaurant/bar options to choose from. Although, some guests faced difficulty in fetching passes for the beach, however, overall, the resort had everything that families needed. Their only wish was for more family-friendly, affordable dining options and printed material in the rooms identifying ways to avail room service, restaurant menus and vending machines.

The ski program for kids is amazing and there is access to skiing and swimming. The Christmas activities for kids are also worth checking out. Even though the indoor water park and arcade seemed like virus breeding grounds, they appeared very popular with families. The hotel is also a playground for children and teenagers with plenty of comfortable and inviting sitting areas for adults to relax and have drinks or conversations while children run around. Some reviewers suggested that the rooms and activities for kids could be less expensive, but overall, the resort is an excellent choice for a party of 8-9 people. However, older folks may find that there is not much to do and the food choices are quite limited with dining choices closing too early. Lastly, some reviewers noticed that dancers blocked the hallway to their room, but this didn't seem to detract from the resort's overall excellence.

The 24-hour trolley service makes getting around the resort easy and convenient. The pool area is great and there is even a small splash area for kids. However, the water park is located at another lodge, but it's definitely worth the trip as their 1-year-old loved it. Although there were some loud guests next door, the resort is still an awesome place for a family getaway. The staff is great and the rooms are equipped with everything you need, including extra shampoos for larger families. Families can take advantage of the different activities available for a fee. Fast forward to the winter season and enjoy skiing with your family or just relax for a few days.
