Wengen was one of the first hiking, climbing, and ski regions of Switzerland. The Hotel Falken was built in 1895 and thanks to the care and attention of subsequent generations it has been possible to retain the special flair and unique atmosphere.

As you pass through the entrance in to the lounge you can feel the luxury of a bygone era. Rich materials, antique furniture, historical paintings and photos take you back in time through the hotel’s history. You’ll feel at home right away.

The Historic Hotel Falken boasts an amazing location with a splendid view of the mountains, including the famous Jungfrau - making it a perfect spot for nature lovers and those who enjoy skiing. The hotel is reachable with regional-bahn and it's just a few minutes' walk from the train station. Guests can ski right to the hotel or enjoy a 10-minute walk up from the station - although the climb is fairly steep. Some guests praise the hotel's bohemian vibe and retro style, while others rave about the spectacular view from the windows and the terrace. Visitors can easily take a stroll to the nearby village, around ten minutes away on foot and the hotel is also conveniently located close to a train station and shops. Overall, the hotel's location is excellent and guests are sure to be impressed by the stunning views and beautiful surroundings.
