The Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge is a great location for visitors to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. It is conveniently located near the main road but remains peaceful and tranquil. The hotel is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and grocery stores. There is a shuttle service available to take guests to downtown Whitefish. Ski enthusiasts can easily access the ski bus right from the hotel. The location is a quick stop to Glacier National Park and is also near many local attractions. The staff, accommodations and breakfast were highly rated. Although not all reviews mention being within walking distance to downtown, most guests found the location to be convenient in general. Overall, the vibe and location of the hotel make it a great choice for travelers looking to explore the natural beauty and local flavor of Whitefish.

But overall, the breakfast at this hotel is outstanding, exceptional and fantastic—by far the best breakfast of any hotel many guests have ever stayed at.
