VALE DE MILHO GOLF is a beautiful 9-hole course, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, close to the village of Carvoeiro, in the Algarve. The course is a scaled-down version of a full-sized course and plays as a 9-hole par 3 course for adults and a customized par 35 for juniors. It is a high-quality course designed by Dave Thomas, who played in the Ryder Cup 4 times and, besides “The Belfry”, has designed over 40 golf courses. VALE DE MILHO GOLF has the ambience of a full-sized course and is maintained to high standards all year round. With its large contoured greens, tall trees, lakes and bunkers, it provides a real challenge whatever standard of golf you play.

It was initially made in 1929 and was redesigned in 1936 by Mackenzie Ross, an architect, and is considered one of the best historic golf courses on the grounds of which many famous golfers have played.
