Its strategic placement near the Italian Dolomites and the Carnic High Trail makes it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts interested in hiking, trekking and biking. Despite being along a busy main road, the soundproofing ensures a peaceful stay and amenities like supermarkets and restaurants, along with private parking, enhance guest convenience.
The hotel's breakfast offerings receive mixed reviews with many guests highlighting its hearty, tasty and plentiful nature. Despite some remarks on limited variety, the continental breakfast is often appreciated for being simple yet satisfying with early risers benefiting from the 6:30 am start.
Rooms at the hotel are described as large and spacious but feature old-fashioned and simple furnishings. Although some areas show signs of wear and tear, cleanliness is consistently praised. The retro '60s style presents a basic yet comfortable environment, suitable for groups and budget-conscious travelers. The absence of modern amenities such as TVs, limited toiletries and poor lighting are common complaints, but the overall cleanliness and spacious bathrooms are often appreciated.

While the Wi-Fi connectivity is limited to common areas like the lobby, bar and breakfast room, guests who require reliable internet access might find this challenging. However, the ambiance and other services compensate for this shortfall.
Parking amenities are a significant advantage with ample free and private parking spaces directly in front of the building and a sizeable lot across the street. These options cater well to larger vehicles, bicycles and motorcycles, adding to the convenience of staying at this hotel.
The hotel is family-friendly, offering practical room configurations with triple bunk beds and a welcoming atmosphere for families and pets. The location serves as a good starting point for exploring the Dolomites and the presence of good parking facilities further enhances the experience.
