Hotel Ávila Golf presents a mixed array of experiences regarding its pool. The pool itself is often praised as very nice, large and well-maintained, providing an ideal and relaxing spot to unwind after a journey. Guests appreciate the tranquil and pleasant atmosphere, underlining the pool as a perfect setting for reading, resting and enjoying drinks or snacks. The surrounding garden area also adds to the charm with sufficient sunbeds and chairs for sunbathing.
However, the pool is not without its drawbacks. Several guests noted that the water can be extremely cold and sometimes, the pool wasn’t open or in use, potentially due to maintenance or event restrictions. Additionally, cleanliness around the pool area was occasionally an issue, including reports of untidiness and the presence of insects. The pool's size also met some criticism with it being described as small by some, although others found it spacious and peaceful. It's also worth noting that some amenities such as hammocks and towels were found lacking and the closing time of the pool was considered early by a few reviewers.
Overall, while the pool experience at Hotel Ávila Golf can be delightful and rejuvenating, there are elements that potential guests might want to consider, especially regarding availability and temperature.
