Koukounaria Hotel & Suites is an excellent choice for families as their spacious rooms easily accommodate a family of four. The convenient parking is a bonus for those travelling by car. If you're looking for a honeymoon suite, their spacious option with a huge balcony and sea view is perfect. Overall, the rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely decorated with some recently renovated with a stylish touch. Many guests praised the generous size of their rooms and some even received a free upgrade. The bed quality is good and the blackout curtains were nice, but some rooms were found to be smaller than expected and few lacked shelves or storage space. The viewpoints from the room were wonderful and the soundproofing worked well in some cases while lacking in others. It is worth noting that some guests experienced issues such as ants or bugs in their room, outdated bathrooms with mold, loud air-conditioning and some amenities not being provided on check-in. However, housekeeping did their job well and daily cleaning with fresh towels was available in most cases. While the overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, some guests found the room's cleanliness to be subpar. Additionally, the location on a hill made the walk to the beach a bit of a challenge for some.
