Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Pasteral Riu Ter is lauded for its stunning location in the picturesque Girona countryside, providing a tranquil escape surrounded by natural beauty. Guests appreciate its proximity to the Ter River, medieval villages, and scenic walking and cycling routes, making it an ideal base for exploration. The welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by stylish decor and cleanliness, adds to its appeal as a relaxing haven with magnificent views.
The dining experience at the hotel is a standout feature, with guests particularly enjoying the quality of the homemade meals. Breakfast is generally well-received for its variety, although opinions vary on its value. Dinner is celebrated for its freshness and local ingredients, thanks in part to the culinary skills of the owner, Pepi. The personalized service offered by the staff is praised, with the team led by attentive hosts Tina and Juan, ensuring guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their stay.
Rooms at the hotel are noted for their spaciousness and comfort, with many featuring luxurious amenities like jacuzzi bathtubs. However, some guests have mentioned areas that could benefit from maintenance, including outdated room features and non-functional jacuzzis. While cleanliness receives positive remarks, there are occasional critiques regarding certain neglected or aged areas, including the bathrooms and outdoor spaces.
The outdoor pool is appreciated for its serene environment, though guests have pointed out the need for repairs and better upkeep due to a temporary closure. Similarly, the beds receive mixed feedback; many guests find them comfortable and spacious, while others encounter issues with the mattresses, leading to an uneven sleeping experience.
Overall, Hotel Pasteral Riu Ter offers a charming and inviting retreat for those seeking a quiet getaway in nature, backed by attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. With some improvements in maintenance and comfort, the guest experience could be further enhanced, inviting even more positive reviews.
