Historic HotelThe history of the building where the hotel is housed today dates back to the 1800s. Before it was turned into the elegant Buswells Hotel, it used to be an Institute for the Training and Employment of Educated Women, supported by the Queen in 1861. Offering a wide array of practical classes for women, the institute worked for 20 years before closing down. It was first turned into a hotel in the early 1880s, and, while it changed names and owners since then, it has continued to offer the highest quality of accommodation to all its guests.
