Location
Athens Quinta is a charming and friendly hostel located in the heart of Exarchia, a vibrant and interesting local neighborhood with lots of places to hang out nearby such as bars, cafés and tavernas. It is ideally situated for those who enjoy staying in less obvious tourist areas, but still within walking distance to the main sights such as the National Archeological museum and Acropolis. The hostel is surrounded by peaceful streets with some nice places to eat around. Although the location is not so quiet at night, it offers easy access to public transportation, such as bus stops directly outside the door and easy access to busses. The rooms are lovevly designed and well-maintained. While some guests commented on the location being a bit remote, it is a great location overall with everything reachable on foot within 20-30 minutes and the touristy stuff just a short walk away. The hostel offers a unique and exciting experience in a hip area with lots of great food and bars and is perfect for those looking for a lively, alternative, contemporary and warm atmosphere.
Breakfast
Athens Quinta's breakfast has received many positive remarks from guests. Many complimented the variety of items available, including Greek yogurt, honey, fruits, cakes and cereals. The breakfast is served on a beautiful outdoor terrace or inside a quintessential living area. The self-service breakfast was praised for its great selection, although a few guests wished for more vegetables and a toaster. Some guests also enjoyed the peanut butter and little candies on offer. Despite a few less positive comments regarding the coffee and lack of variation, the breakfast was overall described as wonderful, delicious and very good. The hotel also provides free shampoo, shower gel and towels for guests. The breakfast is included in the price and can be enjoyed in a cute courtyard or on a sunny terrace. Overall, Athens Quinta's breakfast offers a satisfying start to the day for guests.
Rooms
Athens Quinta is a vintage property featuring beautifully decorated and unique rooms. The private rooms are spacious, cosy and well-equipped with comfortable beds, clean and tidy bathrooms and even little kitchens. Some rooms have balconies with a charming atmosphere. The house has a boutique-ish interior that feels almost like a museum. Even the dorm rooms are spacious and dignified. The lovely garden courtyard and quiet environment add to the charm of the hostel. The bathrooms are always clean and well-maintained. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hostel is located in a central area close to cafes with only a few rooms, creating a welcoming atmosphere. On the downside, some dorm beds are not very comfortable and the rooms on the street side can be noisy at night. Nonetheless, Athens Quinta is perfect for travellers looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Athens.
Beds
Athens Quinta offers stylishly furnished rooms with many guests praising the spaciousness of the shared dormitories. While some reviewers found the beds to be on the firmer side, others found them comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness of the bedding. However, a few mentioned discomfort due to plastic covers on the beds or lack of stability in the metal bunk beds. The lack of electrical outlets and privacy curtains for upper bunk beds was also noted. Despite these minor criticisms, the friendly and respectful atmosphere among fellow travelers and the convenient location outweighed any inconveniences. Overall, Athens Quinta provides a cozy and comfortable stay for budget-conscious travelers looking for a trendy and lively atmosphere in Athens.

The whole premises are meticulously cleaned daily, including changing sheets every two days and providing fresh towels daily. The hostel's beautiful, well-cared-for building is a serene and clean home away from home. Overall, Athens Quinta offers an exceptional price-performance ratio, making it an excellent choice for travelers seeking a quiet, comfortable and clean stay.
