Many have enjoyed their stay due to the attentiveness of the staff, who were always willing to help and were described as polite, warm and respectful. While some have reported that the majority of the hotel staff do not speak English and are unhelpful, the majority praised the helpfulness, efficiency and politeness of the staff at the reception and in the restaurant. The staff were also described as being present, accommodating and eager to answer all questions. The only negative feedback came from a few guests who reported unhelpful or gruff front desk staff. However, these reviews were the exception, as most reviewers had found the staff to be lovely, helpful, accommodating and professional throughout their stay. Despite some reports of unmanaged staff at the terrace restaurant and pool leading to disorganization, the majority of guests felt that staff were the best part of their stay at Novotel Athens.
