Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Despite being advertised as a four-star establishment, many guests feel that Best Western Linko Aubagne falls short of this rating. The most common criticisms revolve around the condition of the hotel's interiors, particularly the carpets which are often described as stained and reminiscent of a two-star venue. Several reviews also note that the hotel lacks the facilities expected from a higher-rated hotel. There are mentions of expensive surcharges, such as the £50 fee for an extra hour of late check-out, which some guests found excessive for the quality of the accommodation provided.
On a more positive note, the hotel is praised for having amenities that include a gym and comfortable rooms. Breakfast receives considerable commendation with many guests describing it as top-notch and varied enough to cater to all tastes. The breakfast service is highlighted as being particularly professional. However, these positive aspects seem insufficient to convince guests that the hotel meets the standards typically associated with a four-star rating.

Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Novotel Marseille Est Porte d'Aubagne has received feedback regarding its four-star rating and facilities that suggest some discrepancies between guest expectations and their actual experiences. While several comments highlight that the hotel does not meet the standards of a typical four-star establishment, guests note that the overall quality and upkeep of the amenities, including the bathroom and other equipment, fall short. Issues such as dilapidation and instances of ants in the rooms further contribute to the dissatisfaction.
Despite these concerns, the quality of the food has been positively noted, suggesting that the dining experience meets the expected standards. However, the general sentiment reflects disappointment with many feeling that the hotel's current state and level of service do not justify the price, particularly when staying for multiple nights. The feedback indicates that a renovation may be necessary to bring the hotel up to the level associated with its four-star rating.
