The beds receive particular praise for their comfort with many featuring orthopedic mattresses and memory foam pillows, contributing to a restful sleep. The peaceful environment and modern, clean bathrooms further enhance the guest experience.
Cleanliness is a strong point at Casa Rovai, consistently impressing guests with spotless linens, furnishings and well-kept rooms and bathrooms. High hygiene standards are complemented by the convenient, central location, making it an attractive choice for travelers. Despite minor issues such as thin walls affecting sleep quality, the overall clean and cozy environment ensures a pleasant stay.
The staff at Casa Rovai is frequently lauded for their friendliness and helpfulness. Names like Stefania, Beatrice and Iryna are often mentioned for their kindness and availability, significantly enhancing the guest experience. Their dedication to assisting with self check-in and check-out, alongside their attentiveness via WhatsApp, underscores their commitment to guest convenience.
Free Wi-Fi at Casa Rovai, however, is an area needing improvement. While some guests have had good internet experiences, many report issues with the signal not reaching their rooms, particularly on upper floors and initial access problems. The slow internet speeds and weak signal strength have been common complaints.
Parking options near Casa Rovai are varied but come with challenges. The guesthouse does not have its own parking spaces, so guests must rely on paid parking options within a few minutes' walk, typically costing between €25 to €35 per night. These logistical considerations and additional costs make it advisable not to use a car for city navigation due to traffic and parking expenses.
Despite some areas of improvement, many guests appreciate the comfortable beds, cleanliness and exceptional staff at Casa Rovai Guest House. The central location and tranquil atmosphere, combined with a hearty breakfast and the charming ambiance of the historical building, make it a delightful choice for visitors to Florence.
