With its stunning views and relaxing ambiance, the resort is well-suited for both leisure travelers and those attending the nearby Surajkund Mela. Guests appreciate the expansive, clean rooms and facilities, although some suggest updates to furnishings to align with the Taj brand’s luxury standards.
Dining at the resort is generally well-received. Breakfast features a wide array of Indian and Continental options, supported by live cooking stations and attentive service. Despite some desires for increased variety and spice in the offerings, the breakfast ambiance is cheerful and inviting. Similarly, dinner, particularly the North Indian cuisine, garners praise for its quality and taste, though variety could be expanded. The dining experience is enhanced by courteous staff and a welcoming atmosphere.
The resort's staff are frequently lauded for their professionalism and hospitality, fostering a warm and stress-free environment. Specific staff members are often highlighted for their exceptional service, ensuring guests feel cherished and well looked after. While there are occasional lapses in responsiveness, the majority of interactions remain positive, reinforcing the resort’s reputation.
The outdoor pool is a notable highlight, offering a beautiful and relaxing space that significantly enhances the guest experience. However, there are suggestions for more regular maintenance and extended operational hours. The addition of a spa, sports zone, and gym completes a comprehensive leisure offering.
Overall, despite minor criticisms regarding cleanliness and maintenance, Taj Surajkund Resort & Spa is celebrated for its excellent staff, comfortable accommodations, and impressive facilities, making it a favorable choice for both business and leisure visitors.
