Nestled in the serene environment of Discovery Parks - Lane Cove, the swimming pool serves as an excellent retreat for guests looking to unwind from the city's hustle and bustle, yet still remain conveniently close to urban attractions. Visitors frequently praise the pool for its quality, often describing it as amazing, great, and nice. A notable feature is the separate baby and toddler pool, which is an appreciated amenity for families with young children. Despite these positive aspects, some guests have noted that the water can be quite cold, expressing a desire for the pool to be heated. Additionally, there are calls for some updates to the pool area, as it currently closes in the early evening at 6 PM. Overall, the pool remains a favored spot, consistently mentioned alongside the park's playground and laundry facilities.

The motel provides clean and comfortable rooms, meeting the expectations for its price range. Guests consistently commend the cleanliness with fresh sheets, clean towels and well-stocked amenities being noted. The rooms, while sometimes showing signs of wear and in need of refurbishment, are generally spacious and provide a comfortable stay. The free Wi-Fi service at Parramatta City Motel garners mixed reviews. While some guests find it reliable and convenient, others report slow speeds and intermittent connectivity issues, particularly in bad weather and on certain floors. However, the overall experience remains positive due to other aspects of the service.
