Located right in the middle of the historic old town, this hotel is housed in a 500-year-old building that exudes charm and character. While some guests found the studio on the third floor to be a bit of a challenge to reach and somewhat dark due to the lack of windows, others appreciated the historic ambiance of the place. Despite its age and slightly outdated decor, the hotel has beautiful and simple rooms that are in contrast to the ornate Biedermeier style of the rest of the building. The hotel is a prime location for exploring the town and even offers a night watchman tour that is highly recommended. While the Fachwerk (half-timbered) structure of the building may make it a bit noisy, its historical significance makes it well worth a stay.
