Summarized by AI
The Courtyard by Marriott Hamburg Airport offers a swimming pool and spa area that receives mixed reviews from guests, with some highlights and notable concerns. Many visitors enjoy the well-maintained and clean facilities, particularly praising the pool and sauna as excellent features for an airport hotel. The spacious pool and relaxing spa area, which includes saunas and a steam room, often contribute to a pleasant and enjoyable stay, particularly for those traveling with children who find the pool to be a delightful addition.
However, a frequently mentioned issue is the water temperature of the pool, which several guests describe as too cold for comfortable swimming. Additionally, there have been significant concerns about the pool's availability. Multiple reviews indicate that the pool has been closed for maintenance or technical reasons, with some guests feeling frustrated due to the lack of notice about its closure prior to their arrival. This lack of communication has notably resulted in disappointment, especially for those who selected the hotel primarily for its advertised pool facilities.
Despite these concerns, many guests appreciate the overall wellness offerings, highlighting the pool and sauna as positive aspects of their stay. The hotel's spa area, combined with helpful staff and additional amenities, generally leaves a favorable impression, making it a suitable choice for travelers seeking relaxation near Hamburg Airport.
