Cocobay Unawatuna is a great choice for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing beach vacation. The hotel's private beach is well-maintained and clean with plenty of beds available for guests. The staff ensures that the beach is tidy each morning, making for a pleasant experience. While some guests noted some trash in the water, this didn't detract from the idyllic atmosphere. The hotel even rents out surfboards for beginners to catch some waves. For those who wish to explore further, Jungle Beach is a short hike away and boasts a clear ocean and sand. While some reviewers noted that the hotel's own beach could use improvement, it's still a great spot for a serene getaway.
