Nestled in an area with picturesque surroundings, Caroline Hotel has received a mix of opinions from its guests regarding its claimed four-star status. While some guests have enjoyed a brilliant experience and would gladly recommend the hotel, others feel that the establishment does not quite live up to a true four-star standard, with some suggesting it feels closer to a two-star. Several guests have expressed that the hotel's pricing does not align with their expectations for a four-star experience. They point out certain shortcomings, such as the lack of a phone in the room and the absence of freshly prepared coffee at the bar, which is instead offered through a self-service machine.
The hotel's interior has been noted for being somewhat outdated, although the building itself holds a certain charm, potentially enhanced by recent ownership that may bring future improvements. Despite these mixed impressions, Caroline Hotel still manages to leave a positive impact on some guests, offering a satisfactory experience worthy of recommendation. However, discerning travelers may wish to consider these varied reviews when setting their expectations for a stay at Caroline Hotel.
