MAXX Hotel Jena presents a mixed bag when it comes to parking, which is a frequent topic in guest reviews. The hotel offers an underground garage with ample parking spaces, ensuring that guests usually find a spot without much hassle. The convenience of direct access from the garage to the hotel via elevators is noted as a significant advantage.
However, parking at this hotel comes with its drawbacks, primarily revolving around cost. Many guests mention the relatively high fees with daily rates ranging from 10 to 14 euros. For some, this price felt excessive, particularly given the narrowness and ventilation issues in parts of the garage. Additional costs for parking were also a point of contention with some feeling the fees were incongruous with their expectations.
On a brighter note, those traveling with electric vehicles appreciated the charging facilities and the availability of free parking in the surrounding area provides an alternative for those willing to explore a bit. Additionally, the inclusion of a free public transport ticket due to the hotel's location slightly distanced from the city center is a well-received perk.
Overall, while some may wince at the parking fees, the convenient, spacious and secure underground parking coupled with the added benefits might make it worthwhile for many travelers. The hotel's location, paired with its parking amenities, make it a solid choice for visitors to Jena.

Guests of Hotel Thüringer Hof have generally expressed satisfaction with the parking facilities provided by the hotel. A key highlight noted multiple times is the availability of free private parking, which many found very beneficial. The convenience of having a secure, hotel-owned parking area in the courtyard was frequently praised, especially for those traveling by car. The parking spaces in the courtyard were deemed ideal, albeit with a recommendation for experienced drivers due to the narrow layout.

Some appreciated the extended use of the parking lot until 2:00 PM on the day of departure. Despite the limited parking options, guests felt they were sufficiently available and noticed affordable spots immediately upon arrival. Additionally, the courtyard offers separate and secure parking options with private barrier key access for enhanced security.
Overall, while a few noted that the parking area is somewhat narrow, the consensus is that the free and secure parking facilities are a significant advantage of staying at Hotel Thüringer Hof.
