The Damson Dene Hotel is a picturesque and peaceful location that provides guests with amazing views overlooking fields and beautiful grounds. The hotel is conveniently located for Windermere and Keswick and within a short driving distance of Bowness, Kendal, shops and restaurants. The breakfast options are exceptional with a large variety of options available and the dinner menu covers everything that you could need. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, making guests feel special during their stay. The hotel offers a spa with great facilities, including a lovely swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The hotel is welcoming of dogs, offering plenty of space for them and there are family rooms available with lots of space for everyone. While some guests found the rooms to be small and outdated, others found them to be excellent, spacious and clean with comfortable beds and plenty of amenities. The cleanliness of the hotel appears to be hit or miss with some guests finding everything to be clean and tidy, while others found the leisure facilities to be rundown and dirty. Despite some inconsistencies, the Damson Dene Hotel is an excellent location, perfect for a getaway weekend, family vacation or romantic retreat.
