Summarized by AI
La Quinta by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford enjoys a prime location that appeals to both leisure and business travelers with easy access to key destinations like the American Dream Mall, MetLife Stadium and New York City. Guests appreciate the proximity to various restaurants, shopping centers and major highways, enhancing the hotel's convenience.
The breakfast offerings receive mixed reviews, though generally positive. Guests appreciate the clean breakfast rooms, fresh selections and friendly staff. Waffles are particularly well-loved and the breakfast is often described as sufficient and good value. However, some criticisms include a lack of variety and occasional quality issues.
Room reviews are largely favorable, highlighting spacious, clean and well-maintained rooms. Positive mentions extend to practical layouts, comfortable beds and pleasant bathrooms with daily cleaning services ensuring overall upkeep. Some rooms come with convenient amenities like a fridge and microwave. However, a few guests note the need for renovations and report issues like noisy air conditioners, outdated decor and weak internet connectivity.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel is generally well-regarded with many guests noting the spotless bathrooms, rooms and common areas. The dedicated housekeeping staff contributes to a consistently clean environment, although there are occasional reports of minor issues like smelly towels or dirty ceilings.
The staff at La Quinta by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford is frequently praised for their attentiveness, friendliness and helpfulness, particularly at the front desk and in the breakfast area. While the majority of guests experience excellent service, some reviews mention a few instances of unprofessional behavior.
The free Wi-Fi has received positive feedback for the most part with many guests finding it satisfactory for basic use. Nonetheless, there are occasional complaints about slow speeds and connectivity issues in some rooms.
The gym receives mixed reviews with some guests finding it clean and functional, while others report closures and maintenance issues. The pool, when operational, is lauded for its size and cleanliness, though frequent closures and maintenance problems detract from the overall experience.
Families generally find La Quinta a suitable option for traveling with children and pets, appreciating the proximity to local attractions and amenities. However, occasional issues like insufficient blankets and disturbances from other guests' pets can affect the family experience.
Beds at the hotel receive high marks for comfort with many guests noting the large, comfy and supportive bedding. A few reviews mention inconsistencies, such as hard mattresses or smaller than expected bed sizes, but overall, the bedding contributes to a favorable stay.
In summary, La Quinta by Wyndham Clifton/Rutherford offers a convenient and comfortable stay with a great location, clean rooms, friendly staff and generally good amenities, though there are areas for improvement in breakfast variety, room updates and consistent service availability.
