Hoteles Desconecta2 by Vicoba, located atop a picturesque hill in Extremadura, is celebrated for its breathtaking views and serene environment, offering guests an ideal escape from the everyday hustle. Its remarkable location provides panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and Tentudia dam, merging luxury with comforting tranquility. The hotel's design and decor enhance the soothing ambiance, supported by attentive and friendly staff who cultivate a warm, family-oriented atmosphere.
The culinary offerings at Hoteles Desconecta2 by Vicoba are particularly praised. Breakfast is lauded for its quality, variety, and use of fresh local ingredients, providing a delightful start to the day amidst scenic surroundings. Although some find it overpriced for a five-star standard, the unique and flavorful options generally satisfy guests. Dinner, often described as exquisite and featuring dishes like oxtail and tuna tataki, benefits from an idyllic setting on the terrace, although some note a desire for more menu variety and better value for money.
Accommodations at the hotel enhance the guest experience, with spacious, elegantly furnished rooms offering stunning vistas and modern amenities. Suites with jacuzzis are particularly appreciated, blending luxury with tranquility. The limited number of rooms ensures a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a rejuvenating retreat. High cleanliness standards, comfortable beds, and exquisite décor add to the appeal, though occasional improvements could be made to room maintenance and terrace cleanliness.
The hotel's pool and spa facilities are noteworthy, with the infinity pool providing a luxurious highlight amidst the stunning landscape. While the spa experience receives mixed reviews, the indoor pool and jacuzzi, coupled with attentive service, contribute to a pleasant stay. The staff are consistently recognized for their friendliness and professionalism, with personnel like Juan David and Edwin ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for, though minor professional lapses are noted during busy times.
Overall, Hoteles Desconecta2 by Vicoba delivers a luxurious and inviting experience, perfect for unwinding in nature. Despite some room for improvement in minor areas, the hotel's prime location, excellent service, and thoughtful amenities combine to create an unforgettable escape.
