First Group Riviera Suites is a charming hotel with exceptional service from the staff. Guests have commented positively on the welcoming and friendly staff, who are always available to assist with any queries. The reception ladies, Thulani and Sbu from the restaurant were mentioned as being immensely helpful. While some guests had unfortunate encounters with a rude receptionist, the majority praised the excellent and attentive service they received from the staff, including Xolani, who was described as unbelievable. The service provided by the staff was complemented by the good facilities available at the hotel. The location of the hotel was also praised, as well as the daily bicycle rides along the Promenade. Though some guests noted a shortage of staff, the majority found the staff to be highly accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to ensure their guests' comfort. Despite a few guests finding some staff members rough around the edges, the vast majority remarked that the staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Overall, guests felt welcomed and at home from beginning to end of their stay, appreciate the high level of hospitality they received from the enthusiastic and friendly staff.
