Mantra Bunbury's pool area seems to elicit a mixed bag of emotions from its guests. While many guests appreciated the availability of the pool and described it as great, nice and well-maintained, there are several recurring themes that suggest some inconsistencies in the experience.
The indoor pool is often noted for being lovely, but the temperature appears to be a frequent complaint with numerous mentions of the water being cold, if not freezing. There were also reports of the pool heater not working for an extended period. Despite its temperature, the pool size was generally considered good, though some found it a bit small and dated.
The cleanliness of the pool and surrounding area received positive remarks with several guests highlighting that the pool was clean and well-maintained. However, there were also instances where guests encountered issues with cleanliness, notably with mould and the need for cleaning or recoating of the cement around the pool. Occasionally, the pool was closed for cleaning, which was a disappointment for some guests, especially those with children.
The pool area itself is described as convenient with some rooms offering direct access, making it a hit among families. Safety measures seem to be a concern, as one review pointed out slippery conditions around the pool.
While amenities like the sauna and spa were mentioned, they too had mixed reviews regarding their operational status and temperature, adding to the varied guest experiences at the Mantra Bunbury pool area.
Overall, it appears that while the pool can be a pleasant and enjoyable feature for many, there are areas that could benefit from more consistent maintenance and reliable heating to enhance guest satisfaction.
